CWorld Trade Grows 2.5%
New data that was released today by the Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis suggests that the decline in world trade flows may have started to bottom out. Trade volumes in June increased by 2.5% from May, the biggest increase in a single month since July 2008. The survey is based on data from governments of 23 developed economies and 60 developing economies. This is not to say that we are out of the woods since exports from Germany and Japan remain 30% down.
